Sankranti Big Disappointment For Movie Fans

While there appeared many reports about release of many movies having high expectations, the movie fans got big disappointment.

Hyderabad: The movie fans of all the top rated heroes anxiously waited for release of their heroes for Sankranti fray. This year there were many released expected to hit the screens on account of Sankranti.

There was Jr. NTR’s temper (with Puri Jagannath), Gopala Gopala (Venkatesh-Pawan Kalyan starrer), Shankar’s I (having Vikram & Amy Jackson in the lead roles).

While the fans anticipated tough competition at the box office, most of the big releases got deferred. Temper had to reschedule its release as the shooting could not be completed as per the schedule because of death in the family of the hero Jr. NTR. The hero took 10 days off from his shooting schedule.

Gopala Gopala was originally scheduled to hit the screens for Sankranti. In view of the presence of Shankar ‘s big movie ’I’ GG movie got preponed to release on 9th January with a view to reduce competition from I. This time the censor board beame the cause of postponement. As the censor formalities could not be completede the much hyped movie GG could not hit the screens on 9th January as announced by the movie makers.

To avoid the huge competiton, Anushka’s Rudramadevi got deferred to March 2015. The producer-director Gunasekar planned to bring this mega budget movie before the audince in Summer where there is expected to be lesser competition.

Shankar’s visual wonder movie ‘I’ having Vikram & Amy Jackson in the lead roles got trouble with courts. The courts directed not to relase the movie in Sankranti fray as was originally planned by the producer & director. Now the movie will be coming before the audince after a delay of 3 weeks from sankranti.

We have series of big releases lik Gopala Gopala, Temper (Jr. NTR), Sreemanthudu (Mahesh Babu), I (Vikram), Bunny-Trivikram movie which are having high expectations. We may have to wait for some more time before we can know the result of these movies with high expectations.
