Rana Giving Equal Importance To North & South As Well

Daggubati Rana is now equally sharing his time and energy for Bollywood vs. south.

Hydeabad: Coming from the family of Movie Moghul D Ramanaidu, Rana Daggubati faced the camera in 2010 for his debut movie Leader under direction of Sekhar Kammula. The super success of the movie gave Rana more and more chances.

Aptly utilizing the opportunities that came his way, Rana established himself as successful and dependable lead role in Bollywood as well. Immediately after Leader, Rana acted in Dum Maro Dum with Bipasha Basu under direction of Rohan Sippy. The movie had presence of other celebrities like Abhishek Bachhan, Aditya Pancholi etc. Special appearance by Deepika Padukone & Vidya Balan in the movie received special mention while reviewing the movie at the time of its release.

The tall hero continued his movie career in south (Tamil & Telugu movies) and his career went like a balancing act between Bollywood & south. During the last 5 years of his career, Rana had Hindi releases in every year during the period 2011-2013 and received good rating for his Bollywood presence as well.

At the same time, Rana also enjoyed success with Telugu movies like Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum (under direction of Krish & Nayatanatara played the female lead role in themovie).

Presently Rana is having major releases waiting in queue. The mega budget movies of Telugu i.e., Rudramadevi & Bahubali are having special mention of roles by Rana.

Rudramadevi is the first 3D historical Telugu movie depicting the story of Kakatiya rulers who ruled the Telugu land with Warangal as capital. Anushka Shetty is laying the lead role of Rudramadevi in the movie and Rana is appearing as prince of Nidavardhaya Puram in the movie. Expected release date of the movie is April 2015.

Rana’s other movie in offing is Bahubali. The movie coming from Rajamouli is having young rebel Prabhas in the lead role. The movie coming with the highest budget in Tollywood is presenting twin heroines from south i.e, Anushka Shetty & Tamanna. We can see Rana as Bhallala Deva in the action movie coming in 2 parts. The first part of the movie is scheduled to release in April 2015 and the 2^nd part will come before the audience by end of the year.

Coming to Bollywood career, Rana is having his next ‘Baby’ with action hero Akshay Kumar getting ready. The first look of the movie released earlier received good response. The movie is scheduled for release in April 2015.
