Tollywood Movie Parampara Review: A Sincere Effort

Parampara is a non commercial movie that discusses about how to bring up children, how the forceful decisions of elders increase pressure on children. This is the story of three generations. The movie is about how important is parent’s encouragement for the development of children.

Rajahmundry: Ravi Kondala Rao lives in a village and his son Naresh lives in a city. Naresh loves writing but is forced to join a job as his father forced him to do so. Naresh’s son loves shuttle badminton but is not encouraged by his father. Naresh’s family goes to village for celebrating Diwali festival after a long gap. There the small boy finds about his interest in poetry and the father understands his child’s love for badminton. Here the story takes a twist.

Fathers and children start rediscovering each other and start to enjoy the natural bonding. The movie takes a generation of audience to their childhood, leaves them there for some time and forces them to think. All the characters in the movie are from the real life. Naresh’s character has more scope in first half and touches the heart of the audience.

Senior actor Naresh’s ability to emote can be seen in this movie once again. Industry should utilize such Telugu actors as character artistes. Aamani played the character of Naresh’s wife. Ravikondala Rao delivered good performance. The story reminds us of the need of good relations between parents and children, the need to parents to encourage children in their interested fields.

Madhu Mahankali, who earned name and experience as a cinematographer yielded the megaphone for the first time. this movie is a refreshing experience for the audience. The camera eye takes the audience along to beautiful village, pond with water lilies and so on.

Background music elevated the mood in some scenes. Though there are some drawbacks in the movie, their effort to make such a film must be appreciated. The photography, rerecording, scenes reflecting the life, natural acting of actors and the locations are the strong points of the movie. the movie lacks fights and item songs like regular commercial films and there is no comedy track in the movie.
