Orissa: Odisha circle released final result of Postal Assistant Examination. Written examination for this post was conducted on 27th April 2014 and candidates who were shortlisted in the written examination had appeared for the skill test which was conducted during 25th September 2014 to 28th September 2014. Now final result of this examination was out.

Candidates who were waiting for the final result of this examination can check the results at the official website of Orissa Postal Circle. Pay scale of this post is Rs.5200 to Rs.20200 with a grade pay of Rs.2400 plus admissible allowances. Candidates who were shortlisted in this examination had appeared for the skill test. Now it is the time to check the final result of the examination.
Procedure to check the results:
- Log on to orissapost.gov.in
- After appearing the home page candidates can see the option Result of PA/ SA Direct Recruitment of Odisha Circle for the year 2014. Click on that option
- Then result will appear before the candidates in the form of PDF
- After appearing the result at the screen take the print out of the same
Candidates will be selected based on the marks obtained in the Aptitude test i.e. paper I subject to qualifying marks in computer skill test i.e. paper II also. According to the merit cum preference basis candidates have been allotted to cadre/ divisions/ units. Availability of the vacancies is also will be considered will preparing the merit list.
Paper II consists of two sections namely Type Test and Data Entry. Duration of this examination is 30 minutes out of which 15 minutes for Type test and 15 minutes for Data Entry Test. For typing test typing speed should be 35 WPM. For Data entry test there will be 10 empty cells. If candidates make errors marks will be deducted. Qualifying marks for general category candidates is 40 and qualifying marks for OBC category candidates is 37 marks. Now it is the time to check the results.
