The Japanese automotive giant Toyota has launched the Innova Multi Purpose Vehicle in the year 2005 for the first time and it has been a revolutionary model in the Indian market since its debut. A number of refreshed variants and special edition variants of the model have been launched and went successful so far. In order to stand against the intense competition in the market, Toyota is speeding up development of the upcoming Innova 2016.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has almost finished the development phase of the upcoming Innova 2016. A set of spy images of a test mule of the model are evident of the same and an enthusiast has revealed another set of spy images over web recently. As we could observe from the respective set of spy images, the upcoming edition of the Innova MPV is developed basing on the ladder – frame platform. However, the base structure of the model will be similar to the current gen model. The new edition of the MPV can be expected slightly bigger in size relatively than the current gen variant.

Front fascia of the model is going to receive a brand new set of head lights and also a revised set of fog lamps at the bottom. The manufacturer is likely to revise the front bumper as well as the front grille. The rear end is likely to get a new set of tail lamps along with a new bumper.
