Aamir Khan’s PK: High Expectations
After the Happy New Year of Shahruk Khan, now everyone is eyeing on the Aamir Khan’s next movie PK.
Mumai: Aamir Khan will be the last one from Bollywood this year to face the box office after release of other major movies like Kick (Salman Khan), Entertainment (Akshay Kumar), Bang Bang (Hrithik Roshan), Happy New Year (Shahrukh Khan).
Aamir has been one of the strong players in Bollywood since long time and he started his Bollywood career as child artist for couple of movies (own production house) and also assistant director for another 4 movies. He got his entry as hero with super hit movie Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. His debut movie was a huge success giving more collections and also many awards for the movie, hero and heroine Juhi Chawla as well.
Subsequent to QSQT, Aamir went on to act many hits, super hits and blockbusters. Incidentally, Aamir Khan’s movie Ghazini became a trendsetter in Bollywood creating a record collection of more than Rs.100 crores. The movie (remake from Tamil movie of the same name) was directed by AR Murugadoss in Hindi remake as well. That movie started a club ‘Rs.100 crores club’ creating a benchmark in terms of collections. As on date there are many movies in this prestigious club.
He did have super hit movie like 3 Idiots in his career and all time blockbuster in Bollywod Dhom3. The record collections by Dhoom3 still remain the highest in Bollywood.
Besides Bollywood movies, Aamir Khan also contributed his best to the society in terms of his small screen program Satyameva Jayate. The program became instant success and ran for 3 successful seasons. With his successive hits, Aamir Khan is called Mr. Perfect in Bollywood.
Now Aamir Khan’s new movie PK is ready for release. The movie being directed by Rajkumar Hirani has Siddharth Roy Kapoor & Vidhu Vinod Chopra joining him as other producers. All these producers are well known for their successful movies in their career.
While the story and shooting of the movie was kept a top secret, the promotional activities for PK became sensation in themselves. The first poster of the movie showed Aamir Khan without any clothes but just carrying a transistor. The subsequent posters also presented different images of the hero Aamir Khan, heroine Anushka Sharma, other important roles Sanjay Dutt etc.
PK is slated for world-wide release on 19th December 2014 and the industry as well as audience are eager to watch the movie.
