Parineeti Chopra To Compete With Sonam Kapoor At The Box Office
The two story oriented movies from the Bollywood that are coming before the audience today are Daawat-e-Ishq & Khoobsurat among others.
Mumbai: 19th September is going to be remembered as a date for release of 2 story oriented family entertainers. The movies are coming from famous production houses and both are having famous star cast as well as interesting promos.
Parineeti Chopra will be the female lead role in Daawat-e-Ishq. The movie is having Aditya Roy Kapoor as the hero. ‘Yash Raj Films’ is the production company and Aditya chopra is the producer for this movie. The movie is a love and romantic thriller coming with Habib Faisal as the director.
Habib had successful movies like Ta Ra Rum Pum, Ladies Vs Ricky Behl, Band Baja Baraat as dialogue writer as well as script writer. He also directed couple of films like Do Doni Chaar, Ishaqzade. This director is proving successful for family entertainers in Bollywood and he had earlier experience with the same heroine Parineeti in his earlier movie Ishaqzade.
Parineeti as heroine proved her success with films like Shudh Desi Romance, Hasee Toh Fasee. After the present movie Daawat-e-Ishq Parineeti is having forthcoming movies like Kill Dil scheduled for release next year.
The promo activities for the movie were at the peak with the hero & heroine travelling to many places.
In her current movie ‘Khoobsurat’ Sonam Kapoor is replicating the role of Rekha in super hit movie of 1980’s with the same name. Her home production is introducing Pakistan’s actor Fawad Afzal Khan to Bollywood. Sonam tried her best to promote the movie Khoobsurat, but her performance in the movie is going for comparison with that of Rekha . Sonam went on record to say that ‘Rekha’s performance is much superior. ‘ Promo activities for the movie went to peak as usual.
Heroine Sonam’s career has been full with family entertainers and she rarely appeared in action genre movies. She proved her success with Mausam, Ranjhanaa, Bhag Milka Bhag, Bewakoofiyan etc and her forthcoming movies include Dolly Ki Doli (a film scheduled to release on 14th February to compete Big B’g Shamitabh at box office) & Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (having Salman Khan in dual roles and from the BOllywood’s famous production house Rajshree Productions).
The result of competition between Daawat-e-Ishq & Khoobsurat will be known on 19th September 2014.
