Regina & Tejaswi: Two New Upcoming Telugu Heroines

The two new generation heroines are having more offers and are likely to reach to the top.

Vijayawada: Tollywood has established heroines in the form of Tamanna, Samantha, Kajal & Shruti Hasan as on date and they are in demand continuing regular shooting of movies with top stars. Apart from these top leads, the other names doing the rounds in Tollywood (upcoming-heroines) are Regina & Tejaswi.

Regina is originally from Tamil and is in demand because of her beautiful look. After already having two releases in the current year (viz., Kotha Jana & Rara Krishnayya), Regina is busy doing other movies. Her upcoming movies list include Sankara (with Nara Rohit), Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham (with Sai Dharam Tej). She is also busy doing Power (with Ravi Teja). Besides the Telugu movies, Regina is also filiming Tamil movie Rajathathiram.

Regina’s name became more popular when she did films with Kishan Sandeep (Routine Love Story & immediately Ra Ra Krishnayya). The chemistry between this pair has been well accepted y the audience and rumours also emerged about off screen relation between this pair.

Tejaswi Madivada is originally a TV anchor and is another upcoming heroine in more demand. Tejaswi’s role in Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (Venkatesh-Mahesh Babu multi-starrer) received good response from the audience as well as attention from movie maker Ram Gopal Verma. He promoted her in his horror thriller Ice Cream. The movie got wide publicity when Tejaswi herself mentioned about her nude scene in the movie. Despite the high expectations, Ice Cream recorded average talk at the box office.

However, Tejaswi is appreciated for her performance in the movie. After that, she received numerous offers. She is taking part in Ram Rakul Preet Singh’s Pandaga Chesko. Tejaswi got lucky to be the female lead against Manchu Vishnu in Ram Gopal Verma project titled ‘12’.

Besides these movies, she already completed ‘Yemito Ee Maya’. This film has Sharvanand & Nithy Menon in the lead roles. Tejaswi’s next project would be with Omkar. Omkar is well known as TV anchor & producer. He has already ventured as director with the movie ‘Genius’. Now Omkar is making another directorial venture introducing his brother and this movie is going to have Tejaswi in the lead role. Her role in RGV’s Ice cream2 is yet to be confirmed.
