Online Registration of GATE 2015 starts on 1^st September 2014: Eligibility/ Important Dates

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2015 online registration starts from 1^st September 2014. Examination will be conducted 31^st January 2015, 1^st February 2015, 7^th February 2015, 8^th February 2015, and 14th February 2015.

Delhi: Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2015 online registration starts from 1^st September 2014. This examination will be conducted 31^st January 2015, 1^st February 2015, 7^th February 2015, 8^th February 2015, and 14th February 2015. For the year 2015, this examination will conduct by IIT Kanpur on behalf of National Coordination Board GATE Department of Higher Education Ministry f Human Resource Development (MHRD) Government of India.

Score of this examination is valid for 3 years. This score is not only used for the admission of various Post graduate Programmes such as Direct Ph D, M.Tech, ME etc in Indian Institutions but also used to get employment screening purpose for public sector units. This score is also used to get financial assistance provided by MHRD and other Government agencies.

Eligibility to apply for this examination:

• Completion of Bachelors degree Architecture / Technology / Engineering.
• Candidates who were pursing final year of Bachelors degree programme in Science were also eligible to apply for this examination.
• Candidates who had completed Masters degree in any Computer applications/ Statistics/ Mathematics/ Branch of Science Were also eligible
• Candidates who were doing final year of 5 year integrated M.Sc or 5 year M.Sc/ B.Sc Programme
• Candidates who were in the second year or higher year of the 4 year integrated Masters degree programme in Technology/ Engineering can also apply for the examination

Important Information to remember:

• Admission fee of this examination is Rs.1500 which is not refundable.
• Interested candidates need to apply for this examination through online i.e. GATE online Application Processing System (GOAPS).
• Online registration starts on 1^st September 2014
• Closing date for the submission of the online application is 1^st October 2014.
• 21^st November 2014 is the closing date for the request for change in the choice of examination city.
• Admit card is available from 17^th December 2014
• Online examination will be conducted from 31^st January 2015 to 14^th February 2015
• Results will be out on 12^th March 2014
