VITMEE 2014 Exam results will be out on 14th June 2014: Counselling will be done between 23rd June 2014 to 26th June 2014

Vellore Institute of Technology had conducted VITMEE 2014 examination on 7th June 2014 and 8th June 2014. Results of this examination will be out on 14th June 2014.

Vellore: Vellore Institute of Technology had conducted VITMEE 2014 examination on 7th June 2014 and 8th June 2014. This examination was conducted for the admission to M.Tech (Master of Technology) and MCA (Masters of Computer Applications) in Vellore and Chennai Campus. Results of this examination will be out on 14th June 2014. After checking the results, shortlisted candidates need to undergone the process of counselling. Counselling will start from 23rd June 2014 and ends on 26th June 2014.

  • For MCA programme counselling will conduct on 23rd June 2014
  • For M.Tech Automotive Engineering Programme counselling will conduct on 24th June 2014
  • For all other M.Tech programmes except Automotive Engineering programme, counselling will conduct on 25th June 2014 and 26th June 2014.

Candidates will be given admission for the M.Tech and MCA programmes in the university based on the performance shown in VITMEE examination and rank achieved in the entrance examination. For M.Tech admission, preference will be given to those candidates who were having GATE score along with the entrance examination score. It is the computer based examination. Paper consists of 110 questions. Exam had conducted for 100 marks.

Eligibility criteria is same for both the programmes i.e. completion of bachelors degree is the educational qualification required to write the entrance examination for the admission of M.Tech and MCA programmes. Minimum marks to be obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination for the M.Tech Programme is 50%. Minimum marks to be obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination for the MCA Programme is 60%.

Applications for this examination were accepted till 15th April 2014. After the completion of the application procedure, entrance examination was conducted on 7th June 2014 and 8th June 2014.
