Colossal Coronal Mass ejection eruption from the sun observed
01.06.2014: NASA’s newest solar observatory has captured a colossal coronal mass ejection eruption from the sun in extraordinary details. A curtain of solar material erupted outwards at speeds of 1.5 million miles per hour. This ejection was observed on 9th May 2014. This was the first CME observed by the Interface Region Imaging Spectrograph (IRIS). It was launched in June 2013. IRIS is to peer into lowest levels of the sun’s atmosphere with better resolution than ever before.
Korean scientists developed Robot Raptor
01.06.2014: Korean scientists developed Robot Raptor. It can outrun Usian Bolt the fastest man on the earth. Korea Advanced Institute of Sciences and Technology (KAIST) developed this robot. This robot can run at 46 kilometres per hour.
Nagarjunasagar Srisailam Tiger Reserve to collect toll free from Andhra and Telangana Regions
01.06.2014: From both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh regions, Nagarjunasagar Srisailam Tiger Reserve to collect toll free. Reserve will collect biodiversity fee or toll fee of Rs.20 from Andhra Pradesh and Rs.10 from Telangana Region for all the tourist vehicles which were coming to the reserve. NGO Tiger first had made this proposal.
