Acer Liquid Leap Smartband to be sold in Selected Markets Along with Liquid Jade Smartphone
Taiwanese PC maker Acer announced new smartphones and a tablet a couple of days ago that would be showcased at Computex 2014 event. Among the smartphones, Liquid Jade is another smartphone that was announced. Another product that was detailed is Liquid Leap smartband.
Taipei: Liquid Jade smartphone comes with 5 inch display and the resolution is 720 x 1280 pixels. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 screen. It is runs on the latest Android 4.4 Kitkat operating system. The handset is powered by 1.3 GHz quad core MediaTek MT6582 processor supplemented by 1 GB RAM. It has 8 GB internal storage and 32 GB expandable storage via micro SD card. It comes equipped with 13 megapixel primary camera and 2 megapixel front facing camera. It supports 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. It houses 2100 mAh battery. There are no details of pricing or availability details of the handset.
Liquid Leap smartband is a wearable device that will be offered along with Acer Liquid Jade smartphone. It can be used to receive calls, SMS notification control audio and so on. It sports one inch touchscreen. The battery life is 7 days. It can be used with smartphones that supports Bluetooth 4.0. It is said the product is compatible with only select models of Acer phones. Liquid Leap is offered in mineral black, moonstone white, fragrant pink, vivid orange and aquamarine colors. This is water proof and there is no information on whether it is dust proof or not. This will be sold in only selected markets along with Liquid Jade smartphone.
