Apple iPhone 6 Coming in August? 5.5 inch iPhone 6 Launch in September?
The much anticipated iPhone 6 is likely to be launched by Apple in August. This was claimed by Taiwan media sources and they also added that the 5.5 inch display variant of iPhone 6 will be coming in September.
Taipei: According to Taiwan media sources, Apple is going to launch the new version of iPhone in August this year. This is one month ahead of the schedule release date. Taiwan Economic Daily news revealed that the 4.7 inch display screen iPhone 6 is going to be launched in August.
Economic daily news said that they are revealing the news based on the information gathered from various organizations that supply spare parts to Apple. Eight crore iPhone 6 models are going to be made this year increasing the screen size will help increase the Apple market share, said industry sources. Presently Samsung is offering large screen mobile handsets based on the requirement of consumers and this increased the market share of Samsung.
Apple is also going to unveil a variant of iPhone 6 in September, 2014 and this is going to sports 5.5 or 5.6 inch display. iPhone 6 features in-cell touch panel technology and this may not be included for the 5.5 inch variant.
As per the earlier leaks and speculations, iPhone 6 will come with ultra slim body. This is supposed to be about 6 mm thick. The display resolution of the 4.7 inch screen will be 1334 x 750 pixels and 326 ppi pixel density. The RAM is expected to be 1 GB. It will also feature touch ID and optical stabilization.
The dummy model of iPhone 6 appeared online and based on them it can be expected that the design of the new phone will be inspired by iPod touch. It will have curved edges with metal chassis at the back. The primary camera with flash will be at the top left corner of the handset. The power button was showed on the right panel. The front side of the dummy model was appearing like an Android smartphone. It is likely to come with a fingerprint scanner. However there is no confirmation on whether the leaked images belong to the 4.7 inch variant of iPhone 6.
