JEE Main 2014 Offline Examination: Assuming Cut-off Marks

JEE Main 2014 offline examination was conducted between 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM and 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM. Expecting cut off marks is different one each one of the coaching Institution.

Delhi: Nearly 8 lakh candidates appeared for JEE Main 2014 offline examination. This examination was conducted between 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM and 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM. Candidates had written two papers namely Paper I and Paper II. Paper I was written in the morning session and Paper II written in the afternoon session. From Andhra Pradesh 1, 22, 863 candidates had written this examination. Across India and abroad this examination was conducted in 150 cities. In India 13, 56,805 candidates had applied for this examination. After successful completion of the examination, now all the candidates’ eyes were towards the answer keys and cut off marks.

Official answer key will be released on 25th April 2014. Some of the institutions such as FITJEE, Resonance and Aakash released the tentative answer keys. Rush towards these answer keys is also too high. It is expecting that nearly 1.5 lakhs candidates may qualify in this examination. This is the qualifying examination for JEE Advanced 2014. Cut-off marks play an important role for JEE Advanced 2014 examination. Some of the institutions such as IIT ians PACE, Resonance, FITJEE, and Super 30 declared the expecting cut off marks of this examination. One of the leading coaching institution i.e. Allen Kota is expecting that cut-off marks is 135 for JEE Advance examination.

According to Resonance Cut-off marks is expecting between 115 and 125. 30 % to 35 % is the expected cut-off marks as per FITJEE. As per the Super 30 fame it is expecting that JEE Main 2014 cut-off marks is between 120 to 130. Career Point stated that cut off mark of this examination is 105. Between 180 to 200 are the cut-off marks claiming by the Brilliant Study Centre. Results of this examination will announce on 3rd May 2014. Meanwhile JEE Main 2014 online examinations will be held.
