GATE Results will be announced on 28th March 2014

GATE examination was conducted successfully through online from 2nd February 2014 to 2nd March 2014 on Saturdays and Sundays. Results will be announced on 28th March 2014.

Delhi: GATE examination conducts to have admission into M.Tech Courses in NITs (National Institute of Technology), IIITs (Indian Institute of Information Technology) and other engineering institutes in India. This examination was conducted successfully through online from 2nd February 2014 to 2nd March 2014 on Saturdays and Sundays. GATE 2014 Administrator has allotted the sessions of the examination on the random basis. Forenoon session examination conducted between 9.00 AM to 12.00 PM and Afternoon session examination conducted between 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM.

Candidates who had written this examination are waiting for the results. These results will be announced on 28th March 2014. Candidates who had written this examination need to check the results at the official website of GATE 2014. This examination was conducted by 7 Indian Institutes of Technology namely IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Roorkee, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Mumbai, IIT Delhi. This examination score is used by several institutions including few Public Sector Undertakings. After the announcement of the Result, this score is valid for 2 years. Score cards of this examination will be sent through mail to all the candidates who had attained the marks equal to or above the qualifying marks of OBC candidates. Score cards will also be issued to all the SC/ ST/ PWD Candidates.

There are several educational opportunities available through GATE. This is not only the Entrance examination for Post Graduation courses but also plays a key role in the admission of several government organisations. Financial assistance can also avail from MHRD. There are several eligibility criteria’s to write this examination, some are students who are pursuing final year of 5 year integrated B.S – M.S Program or 5 year integrated M.Sc., students who are in higher year of 4 year or in second year Integrated Masters Degree Program in Technology or in Engineering, students who are pursuing higher year of 4th year of Dual degree program in Technology / Engineering or 5 year Integrated Masters degree program etc.
