It is no doubt that the Octa-Core processors will bring the world of Smartphone processing ability to the next level of evolution. The recently launched MediaTek MT6592 SoC coupled with the announced release of Intex newest smartphone. It would appear that the stage has been set for stakeholder to produce the next to PC computing smartphones.

New Delhi: The following is a list of the best 7 smartphones which will be having the octa-core processors. These smartphones will have enough computing power that would rival some of the PCs currently in the market. These 7 smartphones are:

  • Intex Octa-Core Smartphone: Intex was the first manufacture to release the 8-core smartphone which was powered by MediaTek MT6592 SoC.
  • HTC Octa-Core Smartphone: Rumors has it that this Taiwanese company is aggressively working on launching the HTC One 2 Smartphone which will have the octa-core processor among other features such as 5 inch FHD display, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory.
  • Sony Tianchi: Sony earlier this year launched the Sony Xperia C which has a processor made by MediaTek. Now rumors has it that Sony is working on launching a new smartphone the Sony Tianchi, still in collaboration with MediaTek’s MT6592 processor.
  • Micromax Canvas 5: Micromax last release the Canvas Turbo A250 got many positive reviews among consumers. There are reliable rumors that indicate that Micromax is planning to launch a new smartphone having the octa-core chipset under the hood.
  • Huawei Ascend P6S: Huawei is set to launch a new smartphone which will be running on a 1.6GHz octa-core chipset. These smartphone will be a successor of the previously launched Ascend P6.
  • Samsung Octa-Core Phone: According to DigiTimes, Samsung is making plans to adapt the MediaTek octa-core chipset to make the next generation of its Galaxy handset. It is said that the firs Samsung’s device with the octa-core chipset will be launched within the first quarter of next year.
  • Alcatel Octa-Core Phone: TCL and MediaTek have been in close working relationship and it is rumored that TCL will adopt the MediaTek octa-core chipset to manufacture its next Alcatel One Touch Idol X+.

Looks like the MediaTek octa-core chipset has set a new platform for a race by the biggest names in smartphone manufactures to outdo each other in making the next octa-core smartphone, and the race has just only began.
