A new midrange smartphone was spotted on Snapdeal for a price of Rs. 14,999. Canvas Magnus is not officially confirmed by the company. It comes with 5 inch display. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly bean operating system. it comes with 12 megapixel primary camera and 2 megapixel front facing camera.

New Delhi: Canvas Magnus is the new smartphone that will be launched in India soon from Micromax. Canvas Magus will be offered with a price tag of Rs. 14,999. It is now available at online retailer Snapdeal. Micromax did not officially unveil the handset.

The upcoming mid range smartphone from Micromax is an addition to the Canvas series of phone. Others in the canvas series that are already released are Canvas 2, Canvas plus, Canvas Music, Canvas HD, Canvas 4, Canvas Doodle and Canvas Doodle 2.

Canvas Magnus smartphone from Micromax comes with 5 inch display. The display resolution is 720 x 1280 pixels. it is powered by 1.5 GHz quad core processor. it is powered by 1 GB RAM. It supports dual SIM and comes equipped with 12 megapixel primary camera and 2 megapixel front facing camera. The handset comes loaded with Android 4.2 Jelly bean operating system. it is also expected that the handset will support micro SIM supporting dual SIM feature.

Micromax is also coming up with another handset in the Canvas series rumors about which were heard in the beginning of this week. Canvas Turbo is the new handset and it will come with 5 inch display. It also has 13 megapixel primary camera and 5 megapixel front facing camera.
