TVS unveiled 110 CC Jupiter for Rs. 44200 – Econometer powered scooter promises 62 kmpl
TVS Motors has recently unveiled the 125 CC Pheonix premium motor bike in the Indian market and it went successful. Now, the manufacturer has come up with a scooter type two wheeler which also carries a 100+ CC engine. The model named as ‘Jupiter’, has already been spied several times before in the past and now the model has been unveiled officially.
The new TVS Jupiter comes with a 110 CC CVTi engine that is capable of generating around 8 bhp of power at the peak along with 8 Nm of torque. The rear end of the vehicle comes with LED tail lamps and it looks amazing. Jupiter can be described as one the most elegant models from the manufacturer in India. Unlike the other scooters, Jupiter comes with the fuel tank lid located on the rear end of the bike while it is located under the seat in all other scooters.
The wheel base of the brand new Jupiter is 1275 mm which is longer than most of the other models in Indian market. The scooter comes equipped with 12 inch tubeless tyres for both the wheels. Jupiter comes with a standard dash board that comes with indicator for low fuel warnings and pass switch indicator. TVS is offering the scooter with two modes namely Eco and Power that has been introduced for the first time ever in a scooter and the manufacturer has also received patent for the Econometer.
Jupiter comes with 5 liters of fuel capacity and shutter type key lock that is very useful at times of bad weather. Under the seat, Jupiter comes with 17 liters of space for luggage and out of all it comes with a mobile charger. Telescopic shockers have been fitted in the front and the rear end gets gas charged suspension system. TVS claimed that Jupiter is capable of delivering around 62 kmpl of mileage.
A lot of similarities we can find between the Jupiter and TVS’s former launch Wego. Jupiter has been priced Rs. 44200 in India which is less than the price of Wego.
