Monthly Monitory System Introduced by Rahul Gandhi
21.09.2013: Rahul Gandhi who is the Congress Vice President had introduced Monthly Monitory System for all AICC secretaries with the intension to streamline the working of party functionaries keeping in mind about assembly elections and Lok Sabha elections. As per the new system, AICC secretaries have to submit the work being done to Rahul Gandhi by 10th of every month.

Non Playing Captain of Davis Cup Team is Anand Amritraj
21.09.2013: Anand Amritraj is appointed as non playing captain of the Davis Cup team by AITA (All India Tennis Association Executive Committee). Earlier SP Misra acted as non playing Captain of the Davis Cup. 8 top players revolted and asked to change the Captain so Mr.Misra lost his job.
Gujarati Film Nominated to represent India in Oscars
21.09.2013: Gujarati Film ‘The Good Roard’ is nominated to represent India in the best Foreign Film Category in next year Oscars. This film won Gyan Correa’s National award. The Good Roard is lost and found story of a small boy. This film faced strong competitions from Vishwaroopam, Celluloid, English Vinglish, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, and The Lunchbox. In total 22 entries from different parts of India to compete with Gujarati Film.
Yasin Bhatkal was arrested by NIA
21.09.2013: Yasin Bhatkal who is the co-founder of Indian Mujahideen was arrested by NIA. He was arrested in the case of Dilshuknagar bomb blast in Hyderabad. Delhi court announced that he will keep in remand for 2 days.
Music album dedicated to Afzal Guru
21.09.2013: Music Album whose title is Tribute to Mohammad Afzal Guru dedicated to Afzal Guru. Today Afzal released from Tihar jail. In the last year he was arrested in Parliament attack case. Khurram Pervez who is the co-ordinator of Jammu and Kashmir Coalition of Civil society has stated that album consists of 14 songs. Out of 14, 4 songs are in English, 2 songs composed in Kashmiri and 8 songs composed in Urdu. All the songs highlight Afzal guru’s contribution by making him as an icon.
