Lenovo Launched New Tablets in India: Lenovo A1000, A3000, S6000, ThinkPad Tablet 2 and IdeaPad Lynx

Lenovo is one of the top Pc vendors in India. It mostly offers Windows based devices. Lenovo launched A1000, A3000 and S6000 Android tablets and ThinkPad Tablet 2, IdeaPad Lynx tablets in India.

Mumbai: Lenovo launched A1000, A3000 and S6000 android tablets in India. Apart from these tablets it also launched ThinkPad Tablet 2 and IdeaPad Lynx K3011 Windows 8 based tablets also. Lenovo is a popular PC vendor in India.

Lenovo A1000 runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. It is powered by 1.2 GHz dual core MediaTek processor. It sports 7 inch display and the display resolution is 1024 x 600 pixels. There are front facing speakers. It is provided with 16 GB of built in memory and it is provided with a micro SD card slot the lets the user add extra storage up to 32 GB.

Lenovo A3000 is another Android tablet that sports 7 inch display. This tablet supports voice calling. The handset runs on Android 4.1 Jelly bean operating system. It is powered by quad core MediaTek CPU processor. It sports 7 inch display. The display resolution is 1024 x 600 pixels. Lenovo has not revealed the details of the internal storage of the device. Memory can be expanded up to 64 GB via micro SD card. The price of the device is Rs. 16,000.

Lenovo S6000 is another tablet that sports ten inch display. It is believed to compete with iPad. The price for which it is offered in India is Rs. 27,000. It sports 10.1 inch display. The display resolution is 1280 x 800 pixels. It is powered by 1.2 GHz quad core MediaTek processor. As per Lenovo, the tablet will last for 8 hours once it is charged fully. The tablet is also offered in HSPA+ version.

While A1000, A2000 and S6000 tablets are Android based, Lenovo launched another tablet that is Windows 8 Os based. It is ThinkPad tablet2. It comes with a display of 10.1 inch and the pixel resolution is 1368 x 768 pixels. It is powered by 1.8 GHz dual core Intel atom CPU. It is backed by 2 GB of RAM. The internal storage of the handset is 64 GB. The device supports Stylus. ThinkPad 2 is priced Rs. 50,000. A Bluetooth keyboard can be attached to the device.

IdeaPad Lynx is another device launched by Lenovo. This is a hybrid device. The tablet can be separated from keyboard dock. It comes with 11.6 inch display with resolution of 1368 x 768 pixels. It is powered by dual core Atom CPU processor. The clock speed is 1.8 GHz. The processor is paired with 2 GB of RAM. The price for which the handset can be purchased is Rs. 51,990.
