APTET 2013 Postponed to September 1 or September 8: APTET 2013 Notification in aptet.cgg.gov.in Website

It was announced earlier that APTET 2013 will be conducted on August 25. But now it is likely that APTET will be postponed to 1st or 8th of September, 2013. A detailed notification will be issued on the official website today.

Hyderabad: Teachers eligibility test is likely to be conducted on either September 1 or September 8. TET schedule was release on July 2 saying that TET will be conducted on August 25. But it is likely to be postponed to September. A specific date may be announced today. A detailed notification containing the number of vacancies and TET guidelines will be issued today. This notification will be available on aptet.cgg.gov.in website. Helpline number to provide details of TET qualifications, syllabus and rules will be set up soon, authorities informed. Another helpline will be available to provide details of online submission, hall ticket download problems. Centre for good governance officials will be available on this number. These help lines can be approached on all working days during the working hours. Helpline numbers will also be given in the notification that will be issued today, it is informed.

DSC notification is likely to be issued after the TET notification is issued. It was said earlier that applications for DSC 2013 to fill the 20,508 posts will be accepted from August 1 to September 31. It was also said that DSC 2013 will be conducted on October 1, 10 and 11th. But these dates may also be changed as the Panchayat election code came into implementation. Election commission did not give approval to issue DSC notification as it is against election code. In this context the notification will only be issued after the election code. DSC may be conducted in the end of November or December.

The possibility of allowing Diploma in Education second year students to allow appearing for TET is also being observed. Annual exams of DEd second year that are scheduled for September, 2013 may also be postponed to August.
