Samsung Working on Galaxy S4 Mega: Rumor
Seoul: New rumors offering details of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 appeared online and the details of a new device Galaxy S4 Mega were also mentioned in the report.
There was an image taken with the Samsung galaxy Note 3 and some information was also accidentally leaked of Galaxy S4 Mega. Samsung released an update for one of its application WatchOn. It was in the update that Samsung leaked the name of a new device which the company might be working at – the Galaxy S4 Mega.
While reporting the official change log of Samsung WatchOn app Samsung the new features of the app which include the better notification widget, activity based control pad, fixing of UI layout issues, fixing of media player issues, Google TV support, cleaver device setup flow, improved TV/AV receiver input setup and also ‘added support for upcoming S4 Mega, S4 Mini and S4 active’.
Except for the report, there is no evidence to prove the existence of Galaxy S4 Mega. The device mentioned in the update might be already announced Mega series device. It was announced that mega series device from Samsung is going to feature Samsung WatchOn.
However the existence of Galaxy S4 Active and Galaxy S4 Mini smartphones were confirmed. And these two are supposed to be available in July this year.
Samsung Galaxy Mini: This handset is likely to sport 4.3 inch super AMOLED display. The display resolution is 540 x 960 pixels and the display type is Super AMOLED display. It is provided with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. It comes equipped with 8 megapixel rear camera. It runs on Android 4.0 Ice cream Sandwich operating system and has 2100 mAh battery under the hood.
Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom: Galaxy S4 Zoom is likely to come with a 4.3 inch AMOLED display and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. Memory can be expanded up to 64 GB via micro SD. The internal storage of the handset is 8 GB. This handset will be available in black and white colors. The black color handset is expected to arrive between 3rd and 9th June. White handset will be available from 17th – 23rd June, 2013.
Samsung Galaxy S4 Active: There have been many rumors about this device and if the device turns out to be true, the specifications may include 5 inch AMOLED display and will be powered by Snapdragon 600 or Exynos 5 Octa processor. It will have a 13 megapixel camera and 2 GB of RAM. It will come loaded with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system. It is alleged that Galaxy S4 Active is a rugged smartphone. It will also be dust and water resistant.
