Devices Supporting Facebook Home: Galaxy SIII, HTC OneX+ & Galaxy Note 2 to Support FB Home
New York: Facebook has just recently come up with another innovative product called as Facebook Home Android. This feature will bring the social networking to the home screen of Android phones. But this feature is now available only for few selected Samsung and HTC devices. This service is expected to be expanded for many other devices very soon. Presently, Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy SIII and HTC One X+ mobiles are going to have support for Facebook Home Feature.
Samsung Galaxy SIV and HTC One Mobiles will be the latest devices to join the list of devices providing support for Facebook Home feature. These devices will have support for the latest app. With the launch of this app, there are rumors about probable Facebook Phone or forked Android operating system supporting this app. Facebook Home will be made available as Launcher on Google Play Store. This app will go live on April 12th 2013. HTC made an announcement regarding the launch of HTC First mobile phone which comes with this app pre installed. This mobile phone is made exclusive to AT & T network. Regional availability details of this phone are not made available. It is not known whether the phone will be made available to US only.
Google Nexus 4 which is one of the most popular Android phones of modern day seems to have been left out of initial launch of Facebook Home. This mobile is also expected to get support for Facebook Home, although its exact date has not been unveiled. Sooner, Facebook Home feature will be supported on increasing number of Android phones, but in step wise manner, according to the rumors on internet. But if you want to enjoy this Facebook Home feature right now, you will have to purchase either Samsung Galaxy S3, or Galaxy Note 2 or HTC One X+ mobiles. You can also get HTC One and Galaxy SIV as they would get support for Facebook Home in near future.
