AP Intermediate Second Year Results 2013: Pass Percentage in Government Colleges 65%

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Intermediate second year results are announced and the pass percentage is 65.36. Pass percentage in government colleges this year is recorded as 65%. Continuously for 8th year, pass percentage of girls is 69.04 which is more than the boys. Boys pass percentage is only 62%. The results were released by education minister K Parthasarathy in Board of Intermediate office in Nampally. Rajeshwar Tiwary, Board Secretary Ram Shankar Naik, Inter education commissioner JSV Prasad and exam controller Narayana were also present when the results were declared.

In total 9,24,830 students appeared for the exam including regular, private and compartmental category. 5,04,300 students passed.

  • Pass percentage of general category students is 65.36
  • Pass percentage of private students is 30.50

In vocational courses 83,830 students appeared for the exam including private and regular students. Pass percentage of regular students is 48.60 and that of private students is 25.55. Except Ranga Reddy and Hyderabad districts pass percentage in Telangana districts is low. Intermediate marks will be considered for weightage in deciding the EAMCET ranks. Second list of EAMCET ranks will be announced after the results of advanced supplementary exams.

  • Srikakulam is in first place in vocational results with 68%

  • 1,01,355 students appeared from government colleges and 66,082 students passed
  • Adilabad district topped in the government college results with 80 percent
  • Hyderabad is in last place with 52%

Marks memos of second year intermediate will be sent to the principals of the college before 30th April and students can take the memos from them. If there are any mistakes in the memos, principals of colleges should be approached before 25th May and get them corrected.

Intermediate Board secretary M Subrahmanyam revealed that the students can obtain xerox copies of their answer sheets or apply for recounting or re-verification of marks. For recounting Rs. 100 is to be paid for ever subject in e-seva or AP Online. For re-verification and obtaining Xerox copies of answer sheets Rs. 600 is to be paid for each subject. Last date for payment of re-verification and recounting is 7th May, 2013.

Intermediate advanced supplementary exams will be conducted from 22nd May, 2013. Last day for payment of exam fee is 6th May. Last date will not be extended, Intermediate Board secretary informed.
