Kiran Kumar Reddy Indiramma Bata in Amalapuram

Andhra Pradesh chief minister has made it clear that welfare programs being implemented by the state government are not the achievement of ex chief minister Y S Rajsekhar Reddy but is the credit of Congress party. He clearly said when he participated in the Indiramma Bata program in Amalapuram that all the welfare programs implemented during the tenure of Y S Rajasekhar Reddy were not implemented by Rajasekhar Reddy on his own but all those were the welfare schemes of Congress government.

Along with YSR, he also criticized his opponents both in his own party and outside the party. While playing cricket with the tribal boys, he commented that even they could not take his wicket and indirectly challenged his political opponents. He stated that all welfare schemes that are implemented in the states ruled by congress government are according to the manifesto of Congress party. Many such welfare schemes were implemented even during Y S Rajasekhar Reddy. He is only the representative of the Congress government.

Chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy also cracked jokes on YSR Congress party. He said YSR Congress party has made the congress schemes as its agenda. Now the congress party has changed it agenda in implementing the welfare schemes so YSR party may also change its agenda, he said. Farmers from Konaseema protested for minimum support price, he assured that he would pressurize the central government to apply employment guarantee scheme to hand weavers. He also said that the state government is planning to offer interest free loans to women and a decision will be taken soon.

As part of Indiramma Bata program, chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy participated in a chit chat with Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu candidates in TTDC, Amalapuram. He said to them that Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu program is being implemented in the state for providing job opportunities to youth. He said some MPs from state tried to stall the implementation of the program by making a complaint to the chief minister that the government has announced to provide 15 lakh government jobs through this program because of which the Prime Minister has not attended for the opening of the scheme. But in reality the state government has stated that it would provide job opportunities in private companies through Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu program.

Chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy informed that more than two lakh youth are provided with job opportunities through Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu and more than 17 lakh people registered for jobs.
