Chris Gayle Creates New T20 Record
27.3.2016: West Indies player Chris Gayle scored more than fifteen hundred runs in T20 matches and collected more than fifteen wickets. He is the third player to achieve this in T20 international matches. He recently picked up two wickets in a match against South Africa in the T20 world cup tournament which is now going on. Mohammad Hafeez is in the first place with 1,614 runs and 46 wickets. In the second place is JP Dummy of South Africa who scored 1338 runs and claimed 17 wickets in T20 matches.
Team India Enters the Semi-Finals of T20 World Cup Tournament
27.3.2016: Team India stormed into semi finals of T20 World Cup tournament. Virat Kohli played a magnificent innings to take India into semi finals. With this Australia is out of the tourney now. Australia set a target of 160 runs for India. India successfully chased the target with the help of Kohli’s unbeaten 82 runs in 51 balls. Kohli is announced the man of the match. Semi final match will be played between India and West Indies on 30th of this month and New Zealand will face England.
Rotavirus Vaccine for Diarrhea Introduced
27.3.2016:Rotaviurs Vaccine for diarrhea is introduced in the immunization programme of the government. The vaccine was introduced by union health minister JP Nadda. Four states in the country will get the vaccine in the beginning and later will be extended to other states in the next phases. According to available information, around 78,000 children below the age of five years are being killed by rotavirus infection.
CSIR Research Says, Mint Helps Fight Cancer
27.3.2016: Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants – CSIR revealed that mint plant has medicinal values and cures cancer. The scientist say, L-Menthol that the menthol plant contains is the medicinal compound that cures cancer. This can kill colon cancer cell line and the other healthy cells will not be affected. It is also said that the spreading and growth of cancer cell is also inhibited.
