First Woman CM of J&K is Going to Be Mehboob Mufti Sayeed

26.3.2016: Mehbooba Mufti Sayeed is going to become the first woman chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir. Jammu and Kashmir is under government rule since former chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed passed away. PDP legislators meeting took the decision and the PDP leaders are saying that they will consult alliance partner Bharatiya Janata Party to follow the rest.

Fortune’s 50 Greatest Leaders List Names Arvind Kejriwal

25.3.2016: Fortune magazine released the list of fifty greatest leaders in the world and India’s Arvind Kejriwal is also in the list. Kejriwal is chief minister of Delhi. This is the third list of the magazine. Arvind Kejriwal is 47 and is the chief of Aam Aadmi party. He is forty second in the list and is the only one from India. Top name in the list is Jeff Bezos, the CEO of Amazon.

Bhushan Patil is New Executive of Paytm

25.3.2016: Paytm appointed Bhushan Patil as its new president. He is handling the operations of Alibaba Group Holding’s wholesale business. After joining Paytm he will look after cross border commerce of the company. He served Alibaba group for more than five and half years. The Indian business of Paytm is increasing and the company aims at selling USD two billion worth products.

Shane Watson Retires from International Cricket

26.3.2016: Shane Watson announced retirement from international cricket. He will retire after the ongoing world Twenty 20 tournament. He already retired from test cricket in September last year. He also not played one day international matches also since then.

Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana Gramin Implementation Approved by Union Cabinet

25.3.2016: Union cabinet approved he implementation of Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojan – Gramin, the rural housing scheme. This was approved in a meeting chaired by prime minister Narendra Modi. The scheme aims to provide housing to all in rural areas by 2022. Houseless will be provided with financial assistance up to 1 crore to build pucca houses in rural areas under this scheme.
