08.12.2015: Joy Bandekar is appointed as the president of Ola. Prior to this appointment, he was working as the corporate president of Flipkart since three years.  He also was with eBay as director and head of corporate affairs.

Kaher Kazem Appointed the MD of General Motors

08.12.2015: General Motors announced the appointment of Kaher Kazem as the new managing director and president of General Motors in India.  He will succeed Arvind Saxena who is going to retire from his duties in a few days.  He is the chief operating officer of General Motors India since August this year.

Maharashtra is the Winner of Wheelchair Basketball Championship

08.12.2015: The national wheelchair basketball championship 2015 is won by Maharashtra.  In the final match that was played, the team defeated Punjab.  Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Delhi, Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu participated in the event.  This is the second edition of the championship.  International Committee of the Red Cross and Wheelchair Basketball Federation of India organized the event.

Ravindra Jadeja Among ICC’s Top 10 Test Bowlers

08.12.2015: Ravindra Jadeja  is in the seventh rank of ICC’s top 10 test bowlers list.  He climbed four places and stood in the seventh place.  Jadeja was in 30th position when the test series between India and South Africa started.  The series saw one of the best performances in the career of Jadeja and helped him to earn this position.  Ajinkya Rahane is in the 12th spot of ICC’s top test batsmen.  Bowler Umesh Yadav is in the 32ns position in test bowlers list.

Tommy Sugiarto is the Winner of Indonesia Masters Grand Prix Gold men’s singles Title

08.12.2015: Tommy Sugiarto of Indonesia defeated Kidambi Srikanth of Indi to win the Indonesia Masters Grand Prix Gold men’s singles title.  He won the match 17-21, 21-13 and 24-22.  Kidambi Srikanth of India could reach the finals of four events this year. He won Open Super series and also Swiss Open Grand Prix Gold.
