Karan Adani Appointed the CEO of APSEZ
28.12.2015: Adani Ports and SEZ announced that appointment of Karan Adani as the new CEO. He will take over as the CEO on 1st January, 2016. He succeeds Sudipta Battacharya who is now the CEO of APSEZ in North America. Karan Adani is the son of Gautam Adani, the Adani Group Chairman. Karan Adani studied economics at Purdue University in US.
Satyavati Berera Appointed the Chief operating Officer of PwC
28.12.2015: Satyavati Berera is appointed the chief operating officer of PricewaterhouseCoopers, India. She is the first woman to be appointed to this post. Prior to this appointment, she is the regional managing partner for north. Her new appointment will come to effect on 1st January, 2015. She will succeed Neil Wilson. She was with the firm since 35 years.

28.12.2015: Actor Akshay Kumar is appointed as the brand ambassador of Premier badminton League. The league is going to be launched on 2nd January, 2016. Akshay Kumar will post updates on social media platforms about the league. Delhi Acers, Hyderabad hunters, Bengaluru Top Guns, Chennai Smashers, Mumbai Rockets and Awadhe Warriors are participating in the event.
Robin Soderling Announced Retirement
28.12.2015: Swedish Tennis Player Robin Soderling announced retirement from tennis. He was the first person to win over Rafael Nadal in French Open in the year 2009. He won four ATP world tour titles in his ten year long career. He is ill since 2011 due to which he announced the retirement. The last match he played was against David Ferrer in July 2011 in Swedish Open.
Reliance Jio Infocomm Launched 4G Services for Employees
28.12.2015: On the event of founder Dhirubhai Ambani’s birth anniversary, Reliance Jio Infocomm launched 4G services to its employees. Reliance Jio is offering 4G LTE connectivity from March, 2016. Reliance is aiming to offer its services to eighty percent of Indians by the year end and wants to cover the whole nation in coming three years.
