Nandgopal Lakshminarayanan wins UK Business Leader of the Future Award

26.12.2015: An Indian origin software engineer won the KTP Best of the Best Awards 2015 in UK. He was handed over the award in an event in London.  He is serving Knowledge Transfer Partnership for two ears.  He won the Business Leader of the Future Award. He developed a smart key system using which keys and locks can be created that cannot be picked or copied.

Farhan Akthar is Brand Ambassador of Amway for Nutrilite Products

26.12.2015: Amway announced that Bollywood actor Farhan Akthar is chosen as the brand ambassador for its nutrilite products.  CEO Anshu Budhraja said that Farhan Akthar is chosen to represent their products as they needed a credible face.  Nutrilite brand offers dietary supplements and vitamins.  More than fifty percent of Amway India’s turnover is from these brands.

Kusal Perera May Be Banned for 4 Years

26.12.2015: Kusal Perera’s urine sample contained banned substance and so he is facing four years ban, informed ICC.  The Sri Lankan wicket keeper is the second to test positive in dope test.  Batsman Upul Tharanga was also tested positive and was banned for three months. Kusal Perera was dropped from the Sri Lanka’s tour to New Zealand.

December 25 is observed as Good Governance Day

26.12.2015: India observed December 25th as Good Governance Day.  The day is the birthday of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former prime minister of India.  The day was established in the year 2014. Four new IT based initiative for citizen centric health services were announced on the occasion by Union minister for health and family welfare JP Nadda.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi goes to Lahore to Meet Nawaz Sharif

26.12.2015: Prime minister of India Narendra Modi made history by visiting Pakistan to personally wish his Pakistan counterpart on his birthday. Modi who stopped at Kabul telephoned Nawaz Sharif to wish him and suddenly made plans to travel to Lahore.  He met Nawaz Sharif on 25th December in Lahore.
