21.12.2015: Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach is crowned as Miss Universe 2015. She won the title in the event that was held on 20th December. She was crowned with the title by Miss Universe 2014 Paulina Vega of Columbia. Pia Alonzo, Miss Universe 2015 is a stylist and writer for a leading newspaper in Philippines. She is also an actress and model.

Kurt Masur, German Conductor is No More

21.12.2015: Famous German conductor Kurt Masur of Germany breathed his last at the age of 88. He passed away in United States. He served as music director of New York Philharmonic.

Eugenson Lyngdoh and Bala Devi won AIFF Awards

21.12.2015: Bengaluru FC midfielder Eugeneson Lyngdoh is honored with Player of the year award by All India Football Federation. Woman Footballer of the year award is presented to Striker Bala Devi. Some other awards were also given by AIFF and these include Best Referee award for CR Srikrishna, emerging woman footballer of the year award for Pyari Xaxa and Best Grassroots Programme Award to Football Association of Odhisha.

FC Barcelona wins FIFA Club World Cup 2015

21.12.2015: FC Barcelona won the 2015 FIFA Club World Cup. The team defeated Argentina’s River Plate to won the title. Barcelona scored three goals which were made by Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi. Luis Suarez was presented with the Player of the Tournament and Golden Boot Awards.

Abhay Singh of India won the under 19 Singapore Squash Open Title

21.12.2015: Singapore Squash Open 2015 under 19 Title is won by Indian Squash player Abhay Singh. He defeated Alwin Chai f Malaysia to win the title. Abhay till now in his career won two international titles and seven junior titles.

Singapore Slammer Defeat Indian Aces to win IPTL 2015

21.12.2015: International Premier Tennis League title is won by the Singapore Slammers. Singapore Slammers led by Stan Wawrinka defeated Indian Aces 26-12 in the final match played in Singapore. The prize money of International Premier Tennis League is $1 million and the second prize is $5,00,000. IPTL was launched by Mahesh Bhupathi of India.
