Francois Hollande, French President to be the Chief Guest at Republic Day 2016

17.12.2015: The chief guest for 67th Republic day celebrations of India on 26th January, 2016 is Mr Francois Hollande, the president of France.  Francois Hollande responded positively for the invitation of India.  This is the second time that he will visit India. His last visit to India was in the year 2013. France president, Mr Nicholas Sarkozy was also the chief guest for Indian Republic Day in 2008. 

Justice Reva Khetrapal Took Oath ad Delhi Lokayukta

17.12.2015: Lt Governor Najeeb Jung administered the oath of Justice Reva Khetrapal as Lokayukta of Delhi.  Four member panel that comprised of Lt Governor of Delhi, chief minister of Delhi, chief justice of Delhi High Court and opposition leader Delhi Assembly chose Reva Khetrapal as Lokayukta.  The post was vacant since 2013.

Akshay Kumar is the Brand Ambassador of Kwality

17.12.2015: Akshay Kumar is appointed as the brand ambassador of Kwality.  He will endorse entire range of Kwality products for two years.  Kwality has processing units in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Haryana and supplies dairy products such as flavored milk, tetra pack milk, table butter and cheeses.

Sumi Ghosh is the CEO of Tata Starbucks

17.12.2015: Sumi Ghosh is appointed as the new chief executive officer of Tata Starbucks. This was announced by Starbucks which added that he will take his charge on January 1.  He will succeed Avani Davda, who resigned from office.  Sumi Ghosh is appointed by the board of Tata Starbucks Pvt Ltd.  Sumi Ghosh has thirty years of experience in consumer retailing.

Cramer Ball, CEO of Jet Airways Resigned

17.12.2015: Chief executive officer of jet Airways, Cramer Ball has resigned to his post.  This was announced by Jet Airways and Gaurang Shetty, the whole time director of the airlines will act as CEO.  Cramer’s resignation will come into effect from February 29.  He was the CEO of Jet Airways since May, 2014.  Cramer resigned for personal reasons and will look for new opportunities in Europe, it is said.
