Dipa Karmakar wins Bronze at Asian Gymnastics Championships

3.08.2015: Snapdeal in association with HDFC bank launched a credit card in partnership with Visa. Customers can now use this card to make payments online whenever they choose. Snapdeal will reward customers for digital payments made using this card.

Youth Award Named After Dr APJ Abdul Kalam in Tamil Nadu

3.8.2015: The state government of Tamil Nadu instituted a youth award and named it after the former president Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. Chief Minister of J Jayalalitha said that the Abdul Kalam award will consist of 8 gram gold and 5 lakh rupees in cash. The award will be presented on every Independence Day for persons who excel in science, students welfare and science. Dr Kalam’s birthday which is on October 15 will be celebrated as Youth Revival Day.
