21.07.2015: The fashion store Myntra owned by Flipkart appointed Ananth Narayanan as the new CEO. He will succeed Mukesh Bansal who is the co founder of Myntra. He will take charge as the new CEO in October this year.

Maurice Obstfeld is the new Chief Economist of International Monetary Fund

21.07.2015: Maurice Obstfeld is going to succeed Olivier Blanchard as the chief of IMF. He is the professor at University of California and also is an adviser in Obama’s council of economic advisers.

ICC T20 WC 2016 Venues Announced by BCCI

22.07.2015: Board for control of cricket in India announced the venues for ICC T20 World Cup that India is going to host in 2016. The venues of the matches will be Kolkata, New Delhi, Nagpur, Mumbai, Mohali, Dharamsala, Chennai and Bengaluru. Final match will be played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Semifinal match venues are Mumbai and probably Delhi.

Sangram Singh wins WWP Heavyweight Championship

22.07.2015: Sangram Singh created history by winning the world wrestling professional commonwealth wresting heavyweight championship. He defeated Joe Legend of Canada. He is the first Indian to win this championship.

BRICS bank Begins its Operations from China

21.07.2015: BRICS bank began its operation formally from Shanghai, China which is its headquarters. BRICS nations can get help from this bank for infrastructure projects. The opening ceremony of the bank is attended by Finance minister of China and Shanghai Mayor. K V Kamath from India is the first president of the bank and he was also present at the launching ceremony.

Passengers Can Order KFC Meal on Train Now

20.07.2015: Train passengers in India can now order KFC meal as IRCTC and KFC are now partnered and launched a delivery system for train passengers. This facility however is initially launched in only 12 trains and soon will be expanded to other stations such as Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Visakhapatnam. The trains that do not have a pantry car will get the facility first. Consumers can place the order through IRCTC website or though toll free number over phone.
