Revanth Reddy Granted 12 Hours Bail for Daughter’s Engagement

ACB court granted 12 hours temporary bail to TDP MLA Revanth Reddy who was arrested in Note for Vote case. The court granted twelve hours bail to Revanth for his daughter’s engagement. He is issued bail from 6.00 am to 6.00 pm on 11th July. The court said that he should not talk either to media or meet political leaders.

Hyderabad: Revanth Reddy was arrested in vote for note scam. His lawyers requested the court to grant him bail to attend his daughter’s engagement. He was asked to submit two Rs. 50,000 sureties. Public prosecutor argued that if he is given bail, he will influence the evidences. He doubted that Revanth Reddy is asking for bail not for the engagement but he has other intentions.

Revanth Reddy’s family was eagerly waiting for the court judgment on the bail of Revanth. His wife Geetha was under psychological pressure as the date of her engagement was nearing. Meanwhile AP chief minister Chandrababu Naidu will be attending the engagement function of Revanth’s daughter. He also requested all his ministers to attend the function.

Revanth was arrested by Anti-Corruption Bureau on May 31. He was alleged to have tried to bribe Stephenson a nominated MLA to vote for TDP MLC candidate. He was trapped red handed by ACB. ACB also raided the house of Revanth Reddy and seized a computer CPU. They also raided the house of Sebastian who is also accused in this case and seized few documents and cellphone.

Ruling party of Telangana, TRS released an audio tape of Chandrababu Naidu and Stephenson related to Note for Note scam. They are demanding NDA government to sever all ties with TDP and Naidu. AP opposition leader Jagan met President of India and requested to include the name of Chandrababu Naidu as A1 in this case. He demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.

AP government, on the other side is demanding action on TRS government as they are tapping the phones of political leaders and important officials, it is said. They are also demanding implementation of Section 8 of bifurcation law.
