Punyabhushan Award Conferred on Prataprao Pawar

29.06.2015: Prataprao Pawar, the chairman of Sakal Media Group is conferred with Punyabhushan award in Pune. The award was handed over to him by president of India Pranab Mukherjee. Punyabhushan award is constituted by Tridal Pune and Pawar is the 27th recipient of this award. His name was chosen by a committee led by Raghunath Mashelkar.

29.06.2015: Narendra Singh Tomar, the accrued in MPPEB scam passed away in Indore jail. He is accused in the scam and this is the 24th death of a witness or accused related to the case.

Ajinkya Rahane Made Captain of Team India for Zimbabwe Tour

29.06.2015: Ajinkya Rahane is going to lead Team India for the Zimbabwe tour. Selectors announced the 15 member squad for upcoming Zimbabwe tour next month. Senior players including Dhoni and Virat are rested for the tour. Harbhajan Singh made a comeback to the one day international team after four years. Robin Uthapa also returned to the team. Other members are Murali Vijay, Ambati Rayudu, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Manoj Tiwary.

Gutta Jwala and Ashwini Ponnappa won Women’s Doubles of Canada Open 2015

29.06.2015: The Indian duo Gutta Jwala and Ashwini won the women’s doubles of Canada Open Badminton tournament 2015. They defeated the top ranked pair Eefje Muskens and Selena Piek. This is the first title for this Indian pair in 2015 season.

Indo Nissan Announces Withdrawal of Top Ramen Noodles from India Markets

29.06.2015: After Maggi, now is the turn of Top Ramen to get withdrew from the Indian markets. Indo Nissan announced withdrawal of To Ramen from Indian markets. Central Food Safety Regulator FSSAI has said to order Indo Nissan to withdraw their instant noodles brand from the market. Knorr instant noodles were also recalled by Hindustan Unilever. Various instant noodle products were tested after it was found that Maggi has lead beyond permissible limits.
