27.06.2015: Ujjwala Batria is appointed as the chief executive officer of Lafarge India. She will be succeeding Martin Kriegner as the CEO for this French Cement Maker. Martin is made the Area Manager of Central Europe of Lafarge Holcim, the proposed merger entity of top two cement firms in the world.

27.06.2015: The 28th Moorthidevi Award for 2014 is awarded to Vyomkesh Darvesh, written by Vishwanath Tripathi. Vyomkesh Darvesh is the fictional biography of Hazariprasad Dwivedi, noted Hindi critic.
TV Star Patrick Macnee Passed away
27.06.2015: Popular star of Avengers TV series Patrick Macnee passed away at the age of 93. He breathed his last in his residence in Rancho Mirage, California. He also served Royal Navy during World War 2. Patrick was born in London in 1922.
Veselin Topalov Wins Norway Chess Tournament 2015
27.06.2015: Veselin Topalov won the Norway Chess Tournament by defeating Viswanathan Anand of India. Topalov won 6 and half points and Viswanathan Anand secured six points and was in the second place. Hikaru Nakamura is in the third place.
Gay Marriages are Legal Now in US
27.06.2015: US Supreme Court legalized gay marriages in an historic ruling. Now it is legal to marry same sex marriages in all the 50 states of US. The states cannot now ban same sex marriages. This is a great triumph for American Gay Rights Movement.
Bihar, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan to Supply Free Mil in Mid Day Meal
27.06.2015: Union government of India requested Bihar, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan state government to supply free milk in mod day meal to school children. The request was made after it is found that these state milk federations have surplus stock of milk. Supply of milk to school children under mid day meal scheme will increase he nutritional level.
Andhra Pradesh Mining Development Corporation Signed MoU with NSL Mining Resources India
27.06.2015: APMDC signed a memorandum of understanding with NSL Mining Resources India Pvt Ltd, an Australian firm. The MoU was signed for beneficiation of low grade iron ore in Kadapa and Kurnool districts and this includes separation of mineral form extracted ore.
