Manoj Mishra Appointed as CMD of National Fertilizers Limited
24.05.2015: Manoj Mishra is appointed as the Chairman and Managing Director of National Fertilizers Limited. The position was vacant since February with the retirement of Neeru Abrol. He is the director of State Trading Corporation now. He also served Kribhco, the fertilizer company for 23 long years. National Fertilizers Limited is the second largest producer of Urea in India. It has five gas based plants in Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab.
John Nash, Noble Prize Winner Passed Away
24.05.2015: Noble prize winning mathematician John Nash died in a car crash along with wife. His Nash Equilibrium won him the Nobel memorial prize in Economics sciences in 1994. Nash was born in 1928. A Beautiful Mind movie which won four academy awards was based on Johan Nash’s biography and the movie was directed by Ron Howard. Russell Crowe acted as John Nash in this film. He also won Able prize, Leroy P. Steele Prize also in 2015 and 1999 respectively.
Mumbai India Clinch IPL 8 Series by Defeating Chennai Super Kings
25.05.2015: Mumbai Indian won the final match of IPS 8 and clinched the title. The team defeated Chennai Super Kings by 41 runs. Chennai was given the target of 203 runs but except for Smith, no one could score good runs. Hussey, Rain, Bravo and Dhoni failed score runs and thus it ended the innings for just 161 runs. This is the second IPL trophy for Mumbai Indians. This is the sixth time that Chennai lost the final match of IPL. Chennai Super Kings won the toss and elected to field first. Mumbai Indians scored 202 runs by losing five wickets in 20 overs.
Mercedes Driver Nico Rosberg Won Monaco Grand Prix
24.05.2015: Nico Rosberg of Germany won the Monaco Grand Prix Formula 1 World Championship title. Ferrari team stood in the second position and Rosberg’s team mate stood in third position. This is the tenth overall championship title for Rosberg and second title in 2015 season.
