13.05.2015: Indian Origin Harbhajan Kaur Dheer, 62 is elected as the mayor in UK and she is the first Asian Women to be elected as Mayor of Eagling Council. Harbhajan Kaur was born in 1953and migrated to Britain in 1975.

13.05.2015: Deepak Iyer is appointed as the new chief executive officer and managing director of Bharti AXA general insurance. He will take charge by the end of June. Deepak Iyer will take charge from Chalisgaonkar. Deepak is presently serving Indian Subcontinent at Wrigley India Pvt Ltd as managing director.

13.05.2015: North Korea defense minister HyonYong-Chol is revealed to be executed on charges of disloyalty to the leader Kim Jong-un. He is reported to have fallen asleep during an event attended by North Korea leader. He was killed on 30th April, as said in parliament by South Korea Spy Agency.

13.05.2015: Suchitra Bhattacharya, eminent writer died in Kolkata. Suchitra was born in 1960. Suchitra wrote more than 20 novels such as Kachher Manush, Dahan, Aleek Sukh and so on. These are the best sellers in Bengali literature.

Punjab Issued Soil Health Cards to Farmers

13.05.2015: The first state government in India to issued soil health cards to farmers is Punjab. The soil health will be checked by the 66 laboratories in the state every quarter. This will help to educate the farmers on what quantity of fertilizers have to be used. The soil health card scheme was launched by Narendra Modi in February this year.
