LG launched LG Spirit smartphone in India. This is a curved smartphone and is listed on the official India website for a price of Rs. 14,350. It is not clear when LG Spirit is going to be made available in the smartphone markets.

Ahmadabad: Coming to the specifications, LG Spirit handset has a large 4.7 inch display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. Pixel density of the device is 312 ppi. It packs quad core processor whose clock speed is 1.3 GHz and the handset is coupled with 1 GB RAM. Internal storage is 8 GB and the handset supports micro SD card via which extra storage can be added up to 32 GB. It comes out of the box with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. It features 8 megapixel camera at rear and there is also 1 megapixel front camera on board. The handset supports WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity. Other features are 3.5 mm headphones and micro USB charging. It supports dual SIM and the listing shows accelerometer and proximity sensors. Battery under the hood is 2100 mAh battery.

LG Spirit was first unveiled in February this year at MWC 2015. Other handsets that were introduced along with LG Spirit are LG Magna, LG Leon and LG Joy. LG announced that these three smartphone will be launched first in South Africa soon followed by Europe, East Africa, North America and also Asia.
