DSk Benelli TNT25 launch by this Diwali – Price around Rs. 2 lakhs, takes on KTM Duke 390
DSK Benelli has stepped into the Indian market with the launch of five exclusive models in the domestic market recently. The manufacturer is hoping to get appreciable demand in the Indian market and it is also informed that two more key players of Benelli are likely to get introduced in India by the end of this Diwali festive season most probably.
The Italian automotive giant has recently launched Benelli TNT 302, TNT 600i, TNT 600 GT, TNT 899 and TNT 1130R in the Indian market. All these models are now available for sale across the country and all of them are priced in the range of Rs. 2.83 lakhs to Rs. 11.81 lakhs only. The manufacturer has also announced about three more models at the India Bike Week 2015 that was held in the month of February this year. DSK Benelli has confirmed that Benelli TNT 25, Trek Amazonas 1130 and Keeway Blackster Cruiser are going to be launched by the end of this year. He manufacturer is also likely to launch ABS equipped variants of the existing models in India very soon.
The upcoming Benelli TNT 25 is likely to get powered with a 249 CC single cylinder liquid cooled engine that is capable of generating around 24.5 bhp power at the peak along with 21 Nm of torque. Engine comes mated to a six speed manual gear box by default and it is likely to get equipped with ABS most probably. Suspension needs at the front wheel are going to be taken care by Benelli’s Up Side Down telescopic forks whereas the rear wheel is going to get fitted with mono shock suspension system. Though DSK Benelli has not yet announced anything about the price of the upcoming TNT 25, we can expect it to get priced around Rs. 2 lakhs most probably. The bike needs to tackle rival models such as KTM Duke 390, Triumph Speed Triple and etc in order to survive in the Indian market.
