Time Magazine names Narendra Modi among Most Influential People on Internet

6.3.2015: Narendra Modi, the prime minister of India has more than 38 million followers on Twitter and Facebook. He uses these sites to reach to maximum number of people. Now, Time Magazine named him among 30 most influential people on Internet. Others in the list are US President Barack Obama, British author JK Rowling, Beyonce and Taylor Swift. The list is prepared based on the number of followers, visitors to the site etc.

Ram Das Kumar, Former Bihar Chief Minister Passed Away

6.3.2015: Former chief minister of Bihar Ram Sundar Das passed away in Patna at the age of 95. He breathed his last on 6th March. He has two sons and one daughter. He served as CM of the state from 1979 to 1980. He was first elected to Lok Sabha in 1991 and also in 2009 from Hajpur constituency. He was defeated in 2014 elections.

Raosaheb Dadarao Danve Becomes the First Minister to Resign from Office in Modi Cabinet

6.5.2015: Raosaheb Dadarao Danve, the union minister of state in Modi government resigned from office. He submitted his resignation to the prime minister and it was forwarded to Pranab Mukherjee. He was elected president of BJP in Maharashtra state. The resignation was in tune with one man, one post principle of BJP. He is elected four times for Lok Sabha.

15 Crore Bank Accounts Linked to Aadhar

6.3.2015: NPCI, revealed that fifteen crore bank accounts are linked to Aadhar. National Payments Corporation of India aims to link seventeen crore direct benefit transfer beneficiaries with Aadhar by June 30. NPCI made this announcement as they are nearing their target.

Samsung to Setup Third Manufacturing Plant in India

6.3.2015: Electronic giant Samsung Electronics is concentrating on making its position strong in Indian market. The company has plans to set up third manufacturing unit in India. Samsung is having discussions with the governments of Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh states. According to reliable sources, apart from smartphones, the company will manufacture electronic products also in this plant. The company is likely to invest 500 million dollars to one billion dollars. Samsung Electronics ha two plants at Noida – Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.

Google Stops GTalk Service, Replaces with Hangouts

6.3.2015: Instant Message Service GTalk service and brought Google hangout feature. Though the gtalk service are officially stopped, these can be accessed though third party applications such as Miranda IM. Coming to Google Hangouts, free messages can be sent or received via Google Messaging App. Photos can be shared and voice and video calls are free between the member of this group. There is facility to chat with hundred members at the same time.
