20.3.205: Ex prime minister of Australia Malcum Fraser passed away after brief illness. He is 84 years. Fraser was in the office till 1983. He was appreciated for implementing economic reforms, reducing expenses and developing the country. Many global leaders expressed their sorrow over the demise of Malcum Fraser.

Mahender Singh Dhoni Becomes First Captain to Lead to 100 ODI Wins

20.3.2015: Mahender Singh Dhoni became the first captain to lead India to 100 one day international wins. He led India in 178 ODIs. This feat was achieved on 19th March when India defeated Bangladesh in the quarter final match of World Cup 2015 at Melbourne. This is also the 9th quarter final win for India in ICC tournament. These tournaments include World T20, World Cup 2011 and also Champions Trophy in 2014. Dhoni became captain for the Indian team 2007. He succeeded Rahul Dravid.

Australia Enters into Semi Finals of World Cup 2015 Tourney

20.3.2015: Second quarter final match to decide one of the four semifinalist teams was held between Australia and Pakistan. Australia defeated Pakistan by six wickets to enter into the semifinals. Australia restricted Pakistan for 213 runs in 49.5 overs and chased the small target in 33.5 overs by losing 4 wickets. Hazelwood is given the match of the man award. Now Australia will face India in semi finals on March 26. This is going to be a real test for Team India.

E-Ration Cards to be Launched in New Delhi

20.3.2015: E-Ration cards are going to be launched in Delhi in a couple of days. The cards will be linked to the Aadhaar cards and this will help curb corruption. Delhi is the first state in the country to introduce this service.

33% Reservations for Women in Police Forces in Union Territories to be implemented

20.3.2015: BJP government at center approved 33 percent reservation for women in police force. This will be implemented in all the union territories of India and also in Delhi state. This will help make the police gender sensate and also helps to increase the number of women in police force. This reservation is also applicable to all reserved categories.
