Book a Lodgy MPV for just Rs. 50K – Tackles Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Honda Mobilio and Mahindra Scorpio

The leading automotive giant from France, Renault has started accepting bookings for the brand new edition of Lodgy MPV in the Indian market. Lodgy is one of the most awaited multipurpose vehicles in the domestic market this year and Renault is likely to deliver the first order by the end of next month. Indian buyers can book a unit of the new Renault Lodgy by paying just Rs. 50000 as advance.

Front fascia of the new 2015 Renault Lodgy comes with swept back head lights and the unique chrome finishing for the grille. The MPV measures around 4498 mm of length, 1751 mm of width and 1697 mm of height respectively. The new MPV comes with a large wheelbase of around 2810 mm and it also offers boot volume of more than 275 litres. Lodgy comes with foldable seats in the second and third rows of the MPV and the boot volume becomes more than 1861 litres when both these rows of seats are folded. The manufacturer is also offering captain seats or normal seats in the middle row in order to make the seating capacity 7 or 8 respectively.

Base variants of the Lodgy comes powered with a 1.5 litre dCi diesel engine that is capable of producing around 85 PS power at the peak along with 200 Nm of torque. Engine comes mated to a five speed manual transmission gear box by default. Higher end variants get powered with the same 1.5 litre dCi engine but tuning up makes the engine deliver around 110 PS power at the peak along with 245 Nm of torque. Renault is offering a 6 speed manual transmission gear box with all the higher end variants of lodgy. Apart from the cosmetic changes to the exterior, Renault has also replaced the instrument cluster and dashboard with a new one.

Renault is likely to offer the brand new Lodgy MPV in the range of Rs. 8 lakhs to Rs. 12 lakhs only.
