Specifications Comparison of Oppo R5, Gionee Elife E7 and Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini

Oppo R5 is now available in India. The handset was the slimmest smartphone in the world for few days. The handset can compete with other smartphones with similar specifications already available in the market. Here is the comparison of specifications of Oppo R5, Gionee Elife E7 and Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini.

Mumbai: Oppo R5 comes with 5.2 inch display and the resolution is 1080 x 1920 pixels. Pixel density of the handset is 424 ppi. Gionee Elife E7 comes with 5.5 inch display and 401 ppi pixel resolution. Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini sports 4.5 inch display and the pixel density is 326 ppi. Over all the display of R5 is outstanding.

Oppo R5 handset runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat version and Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini runs on 4.4.2 Kitkat operating system. Gionee Elife E7 comes loaded with Android 4.2 Jelly bean operating system. R5 and Elife E7 support single SIM and Galaxy S5 Mini supports dual SIM.

Oppo R5 is powered by 1.5 GHz octa core Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 processor and is paired with 2 GB RAM. Galaxy s5 Mini and Gionee Elife E7 are powered by quad core processors with 1.4 GHz and 2.2 GHz clock speeds and 1.5 GB and 2 GB RAM respectively. All the three handsets are provided with 16 GB internal storage and only Galaxy S5 Mini supports expandable memory up to 64 GB.

Coming to the camera features, Oppo R5 comes with 13 megapixel and 5 megapixel rear and front cameras. Elife E7 comes with 16 megapixel and 8 megapixel camera at back and front. Galaxy S5 Mini comes equipped with an 8 megapixel camera at rear and 2.1 megapixel camera at front. All the three handsets support GPRS, EDGE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and micro USB connectivity. Among these three Galaxy S5 Mini comes packed with 2100 mAh battery that gives 16 hours talk time on 3G. Oppo R5 features 2000 mAh battery and Elife E7 comes with 2500 mAh Li-po battery. Other features are 3.5 mm audio jack and loud speaker. Galaxy S5 Mini comes with dust proof and water proof capabilities.

Oppo R5 is priced Rs. 29,990 for the Indian market, Gionee Elife E7 comes with a price tag of Rs. 24,670 and Galaxy S5 Mini is priced Rs. 24,999.
