Lava launched two handsets in its Fuel series, one is Fuel 50 and the other is Fuel 50. Highlight of these smartphones is the longer battery life. Not only the battery life but the full HD screen, gesture control features are also the attractions of these handsets. Lava Iris Fuel 50 was launched in November, 2014 and Fuel 60 is launched in December, 2014. Let us now compare the specifications of these two handsets.

Jaipur: Lava Fuel 50 and Fuel 60 come with 5 inch screens. Screen resolution of Fuel 50 is 480 x 850 pixels and the resolution of other smartphones is 720 x 1280 pixels. Both are IPS LCD type screens. Pixel density of Lava 60 is 294 ppi which is more than that of Fuel 50 display which is 196 ppi. Thus the display of Fuel 60 is better. Physical dimensions of Fuel 50 are 144.8 x 72.9 x 9.5 mm and it weighs 160 grams. Body dimensions of Fuel 60 are 144.8 x 72.8 x 10.2 mm and it weighs 174 grams. Lava Iris Fuel 60

Fuel 50 runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat operating system and Fuel 60 comes packed with Android 4.4 Kitkat operating system. Both the handsets are dual SIM mobile phones and support 2 GSM SIMs. Both the handsets are powered by quad core Cortex A7 processor whose clock speed is 1.3 GHz. The processor is paired with 1 GB RAM and internal storage provided is 8 GB. Both support micro SD for expansion of memory up to 32 GB.

Fuel 50 comes with 8 megapixel auto focus primary camera and 2 megapixel front facing camera. Fuel 60 features 10 megapixel camera at rear and 2 megapixel camera at front facing. Camera features are digital zoom and back illuminated sensors.

Connectivity features of Fuel 50 and Fuel 60 are GPRS, EDGE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and micro USB. Other features are 3.5 mm audio jack, FM Radio and loudspeaker. Iris Fuel 50 comes packed with 3000 mAh li-po non removable battery. It gives up to 17 hours talktime on 2G and 13 hours talk time on 3G. Fuel 60 comes with 4000 mAh Li-po battery and it gives up to 13.5 talk time on 2G and up to 32 hours standby time on 2G. Lava Fuel 60 is priced Rs. 8,888 and the price of Fuel 50 is Rs. 7,500.
