Latest Gadgets Unveiled at CES 2015: Rolkers, GoTenna, ODG Consumer Smartglasses

Consumer Electronic Show 2015 is going on at Las Vegas and various interesting gadgets were unveiled at the show. Some were really useful, some were surprising and some ineffectual. Listed here are some gadgets that were launched at CES 2015.

Las Vegas: Rolkers: Getting bored driving a two wheeler or a car? Then take these Rolkers to skate on the road. A French company made this personal transport device. Rolkers should be placed under the shoes and the speed can be set to seven miles per hour. These is no fear of falling down as it comes with controller system and electric motor balance. There is no need to take any training to use them. These may come to the markets in one or two years.

Lenovo Thinkpads: Lenovo unveiled faster and lighter laptops at CES 2015. Intel’s latest fifth generation core i3 and i7 processor are used in these models. ThinkPad is the best option for those who want their laptop to be faster.

Ericcson’s new wireless technology: If the internet connection is slow, it is not possible to watch videos in smartphone. To overcome this problem, Ericcson developed a new wireless technology. A cellular device is designed using a special software. This is called licensed assisted access.

GoTenna: GoTenna is a special device that makes it possible to send text messages without internet connection. GPS location can also be shared. But the other person should also have GoTenna device. This is very helpful when working in remote areas, while travelling to share information. This device will be made available by July this year.

XOEye technologies: This is a specially designed spectacles that come with camera and sensors. It also offers barcode scanning. Main use of these glasses is job training. The video link present in the glasses can be used to keep track of the person who is wearing them. Needed suggestions and advices can be given.

ODG consumer smartglasses: ODG consumer smartglasses were designed by a California company that makes hi-tech military wearables. Key features of the glasses are Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, stereoscopic HD Display, accelerometer, magnetometer, gyroscope and internal measurement. It also features high speed autofocus camera, stereo audio, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity.
