She is the second women who became Miss World from Colombia. A first woman was Luz Marina Zuluaga in 1956. First Runner Up is Nia Sanchez who belongs to United States.

26.01.2015: Across Rajpath, all women contingents of 3 services namely Air Force, Navy and Army had done March for the first time. Each Contingent includes 148 Women Personnel. Squadron Leader Sneha Shekhawat led the Air Force Contingent, Lt.Commander Sandhya Chauhan led Navy Contingent and Captain Divya Ajith led the Army Contingent. Long Range Advanced MiG 29k fighter jet was on the display for the first time. CRPF shows off Commando Battalion for Resolute Action for the first time.

Award presentation was done to the soldiers with bravery medals, Maha Vir Chakra, Vir Chakra, and Param Vir Chakra.
