UPSC NDA & NA Exam 2015: Eligibility/ Exam Pattern/ Syllabus/ Selection Process/ Important Dates

UPSC NDA & NA Exam notification released. Apply till 23rd January 2015.

Delhi: UPSC is going to held NDA and NA examinations on 19th April 2015. This examination is conducting for the admission into 97th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) and into Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA for 135th course.

In total 375 vacancies were available out of which 55 posts belongs to Naval Academy and 320 posts belongs to National Defence Academy. To apply for these examination candidates need to complete 10+2 or equivalent with Mathematics and Physics which can be conducted by a university or a state board. Candidates who were going to appear 10+2 examination during this year can also apply for this examination.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for this examination till 23rd January 2015 till 11.59 PM. Applications to be filled through online by visiting the official website of UPSC. Candidates will be selected for these posts based on the performance shown in the Psychological Aptitude Test and Intelligence Test.

Candidates who were shortlisted in this examination will get the eligibility for the second stage i.e. document verification stage. In this stage candidates need to bring original documents along with the photocopy of these documents. Those documents include Matriculation pass certificate and 10+2 certificate or equivalent certificate.

Exam will be conducted in Mathematics and General Ability Test. Duration of both the subjects is 2.5 hours each. Mathematics exam will be held for 300 marks and General Ability Test will be held for 600 marks. In total examination will be held for 900 marks.

This is the objective mode of examination. Questions will be given in two languages namely English and Hindi. While writing these examination candidates should be carefully answered as negative marking is applicable. If answer for the question do not known to the candidates then better not to attempt the answer due to this no marks will be deducted.
