Shahkhan’s Next Movie Raees Is Very Much On Cards

Shahrukh Khan proved himself to be lucky for his many super hit movies to his credit. His forthcoming movie Raees is going to be another big movie.

New Delhi: The undisputed badshah of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan has two major movies presently being worked out. While the hero of ‘Happy New Year’ Shahrukh is fast completing his ‘Fan’, his immediate next movie Raees is very much on cards.

With successive hits in his movie career, Shahrukh is becoming very selective and choosy for his role, story and directors. The future movies of Shahrukh include ‘Raees’ which has been in news since very long time.

In the past, there were reports mentioning that the project is likely to be shelved. Now the fans of Shahrukh are happy to note that the movie is very much on cards. Pakistani actress Mahira Khan will be the heroine for the movie. Mahira already became famous for her role ‘Khirad’ in ‘Humsafar’ that was aired on Zindagi channel.

There is appearing to be an increasing inflow form neighboring countries to Bollywood to play big roles. The list includes Jacuqline Fernandez (Sri Lanka), Veena Mallik (Pakistan), Fawad (Pakistan) etc., to name a few and the list is ever increasing.

As Mahira already proved her success and became noted for Indian audience through the channel of small screen, her presence in Shahrukh’s ‘Raees’ is likely to add positive weight to the movie.

The action thriller dram movie Raees is having the set in Gujarat. Hero of the movie Shahrukh is portraying the role of a bootlegger while Farhan Akhtar will play the role of a police officer. It may be worthwhile noting here that Farhan earlier worked with Shahrukh for his movies like Don & Don2. However this is the first on screen combination of Farhan & Shahrukh.

Rahul Dholakia is handling the megaphone for the movie. Rahul earlier worked in Bollywood in many roles including that of writer, producer & director as well. His famous works include Kehtaa Hai Dil Baar Baar (2002), Parzania (2005), Mumbai Cutting (2008), Lamhaa (2009) and present movie ‘Raees’ with Shahrukh Khan, Farhan Akhtar & Mahira Khan.

To entertain the audience, ‘Raees’ is scheduled for release in 2015.
